Gigi and Bella Hadid share more than good genes, they also share clothes. It’s one of the many benefits of sisterhood, particularly when you’re the same size and have the same taste in outerwear, including a leopard-print jacket they swapped back and forth all last winter (for the record, Bella insists she had it first.) Now the shoe appears to be on the other foot, quite literally. Yesterday, Bella was seen borrowing Gigi’s Off-White x Timberland work boots and Andy Wolf sunglasses when she and Gigi headed out to do some shopping in New York. Gigi didn’t seem to mind, though, lacing into Dr. Martens that could have easily have come from Bella's closet. (The Hadid sisters made a similar statement when they wore matching jerseys to cheer on the Rangers at Madison Square Garden last Wednesday.)
While Gigi originally styled her Timbs with off-duty denim and a bright yellow chubby, Bella put her own spin on it in monochromatic sweats. Her joggers featured painterly details down the sides that matched the faded detail covering her boots. She worked in some sheen with a cropped velour hoodie done in a boxy silhouette that was offset by a clingy turtleback underneath. She strapped on her favorite carrier of late—a backpack—that, much like her shoes, married form and function.
Gigi, meanwhile, went with tapered denim skinny jeans over which she pulled quirky striped tube socks. Like Bella, she finished the ensemble with a major pair of shades—still more evidence that these sisters see eye to eye.
